Consistency

Consistency is key to potty training

Avoid changes especially sudden changes such as in Dog food or feeding time. This can cause health problem in your puppy and make potty training a more difficult job.

Sometimes, the pet store you bought your puppy from will tell you what they have been feeding your puppy or even give you a sample of that Dog food. You should gradually change the Dog food you are feeding your puppy little by little instead of just give your puppy new kind of Dog food the first day you take your puppy home.

Feed Dog food to your dog!

Dogs’ digestive system is not the same as people’s. It is best to feed Dog food to dogs rather than delicious cuisines you love. Your dog might like the taste of your food at the time, but your dog’s digestive system will suffer later. If the dog cannot digest your food well, he may have a diarrhea and you will not like that. The smaller the dogs, the more consistent you need to be in terms of giving the dogs the same kind of Dog food. Potty training will be significantly set back if you dog have a stomach problem.
